Manic Depressive Illness
Calming the storm of bipolar disease
Bipolar disorder is a very serious condition. It is much more than just having severe mood swings. Untreated bipolar disorder can result in fatal outcomes that leaves family members devastated. Bipolar disorder does not go away on its own. It is mostly a lifelong condition that needs to be treated by a professional. Even when a person who suffers from bipolar disorder feels that they are fine and they no longer need professional help, they should still continue to see a bipolar disorder specialist. The bipolar disorder specialist can help the bipolar patient to recognize the disorder has not gone away, it is just running through its normal up and down cycle. If you or a loved one suffers from bipolar disorder, please see a bipolar disorder specialist right away. The longer you wait, the longer the suffering has to continue.
