Dr. Hermiz is a board-certified psychiatrist with training from UCLA and has been in practice since 2018. His approach centers around uncovering and addressing deep-rooted psychological patterns while promoting holistic well-being through integrated treatment options.
Dr. Hermiz specializes in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, particularly for PTSD, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. In addition to therapy, he also conducts forensic evaluations, including assessments for competency, fitness to serve, and disability. While his focus is on psychotherapy, Dr. Hermiz provides comprehensive services for a range of disorders, including these critical evaluations. Dr. Hermiz's journey into the field of medicine was ignited by his innate empathy and compassion, driving his passion to help others from a young age. Fascinated by the complexities of the human mind, he dedicated himself to specializing in psychiatry with a strong focus on psychotherapy, specifically psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Attachment-Based Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (AB-ISTDP), aiming to provide support to individuals grappling with mental health challenges. Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Hermiz is deeply involved in advocating for causes that hold personal significance to him. His dedication to his patients and his advocacy work exemplify his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others
For those without insurance, my out-of-pocket rate is $350.

Forensic Evaluations Disclaimer
Please note that forensic evaluations without treatment are not covered by insurance. The cost for the initial evaluation is $500, and any subsequent evaluations or reports will incur an additional charge of $350. Further administrative costs may be added depending on the specifics of the case, although these are generally minimal.
